| FAQ
Q. Why do I care about search engine
position? Can't I promote my site effectively through
email?
A. Each of us gets so much unsolicited
email these days that email promotion has become
ineffective. Many people don't even read email they
didn't ask to receive. Remember, through a search
engine you reach someone who is actively looking for you;
email goes to just anyone, most of whom are not interested
in doing business with you.
Q. Why don't you ask for a large
up-front deposit the way most Web marketers do?
A. We work hard to satisfy our clients
every month, and we succeed at that. We do not believe that we need the cushion
of an advance deposit to keep the loyalty of our clients.
Q. Do you accept all clients?
A. Unfortunately, we do not. At
the outset, before any charges, we ask each prospective
client to complete a questionnaire, and we interview the
client. If we do not believe that we can meet the
client's goals for the site, then we will not take the
engagement. Of course before turning down a client,
we will do everything we can to find a way to meet the
client's goals, and if we can't, we will refer the client
to any other service providers we know who may be more
suitable for the client.
Q. Why do your charges
continue? Can't you just get me search engine
position and then stop?
A. Search engines typically take up to
several months to visit sites after we request the
visits. Once that happens, we then are continuously
making adjustments, as we learn what terms visitors use to
get to the site, and as the Web environment changes,
particularly with regard to search engines.
Q. I've created my business and I've
marketed it for years. Why do I need marketing advice? A.
You know about your business, and we know about the unusual
marketing environment and challenges posed by the
Web. We will use our expertise to leverage your
knowledge and experience to have the best possible
promotion of your business on the Web.
Q. Do I really need search engine
positioning?
A. If you are going to spend money on a web
site designed to attract potential customers, you cannot
be effective without search engine positioning.
Without positioning, your site will be lost among the
billions of web pages that are seldom if ever visited,
because search engines will not list your site near the
start of the list of sites that are relevant to a
keyword phrase.
Most potential customers begin their hunt by using a
search engine to search on a keyword phrase which, in
their opinion, best describes the product or service of
interest. Since few look beyond the top 30 positions in
the search results, we can conclude that the only sites
these prospects will find and view are those sites in the
top 30 or fewer positions.
Q. Can't I position my own Web site
with the search engines?
A. In seeking search engine position,
one is faced with constantly changing search engine
ranking methods, new and changing competing sites, the
constant process of discovering and testing new
optimization techniques, and continuing fine-tuning
of the procedures which happen to be producing top
listings at that specific time. Simply keeping abreast of
this evolving field is a major undertaking. As the Web
grows, becomes more important to business and competition
becomes fiercer, obtaining good search engine position
for your own site becomes less and less feasible.
davedoesitall.com can produce superior results at a
reasonable cost, less than you can do it for yourself.

What's New!
|
| We
now have a Newsletter of recent developments in
Web marketing. It's sent about once a
month, when we find something worth sharing with
you. We never share your email address
with anyone, ever. If you'd like to
receive the newsletter, just click here. |
Q. Which Web marketing company should
I choose?
A. Of course we recommend
davedoesitall.com, but please consider the following.
The services we offer are also offered
by literally thousands of companies and individuals, most
claiming to be "the best." Unfortunately,
you would not be satisfied with many of them, for a wide
variety of reasons. Unless you have had prior experience
with one who is honest, reliable and competent, producing
first-rate results at competitive prices, you could easily
make an expensive mistake.
Many firms ask for a significant up-front
commitment. We ask for no commitment at all, and you
pay month by month as you are satisfied. Our only
chance to succeed as a business is to please our
customers; we can’t succeed by drawing in up-front
fees on the basis of a slick Web site or email advertising
and then not delivering results.
Just subscriptions for information
services, tool updates and other services that
davedoesitall.com uses to keep current would cost you more
than the Gold service option!
