davedoesitall.com was founded in 1997 by Dave Roberts, who was fascinated with the prospect of the Internet as a marketing vehicle and wanted to bring his marketing and technical knowledge to bear on marketing and promotion on the Web. Since then, davedoesitall.com has helped a number of small to medium-sized companies use the Web as an effective medium to convey their messages--marketing and otherwise--to their customers and prospects.

David C. Roberts is a seasoned IT executive, who has substantial technical and marketing credentials, all of which get applied in the technical and marketing realms where davedoesitall.com operates.

He has a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering, from Johns Hopkins University and the Moore School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. He also has completed the Program for Management Development of the Harvard Business School.

Mr. Roberts was employee #12 at Oracle Corporation, opening the Eastern Region offices in his home in 1981. He worked in sales, management and marketing, and when he left Oracle in 1985 he was the corporate Vice President, Marketing. While at Oracle, he introduced many of the marketing communications materials that were used, and he introduced the notion of seminar selling at Oracle, which continues to this day as an important selling method.

He also has a distinguished technical career, and has designed computer hardware and software products and has led the development of hardware and software technology. He has served for several years as the Chief Technology Architect for a major Government agency, setting the overall directions for hardware and software throughout the organization's technology activities.

He is an Adjunct Professor in the Computer Science Department at George Washington University, where he teaches graduate courses in database management and Internet protocols.

He has a wife and a grown daughter, and finds time for tennis, skiing and cycling. When at home he enjoys cooking to complement wines from his extensive wine cellar.
